Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is cheap Common Featured Cellphone while it is expensive, it has no extra facility even it has no power lock supporting configuration which is very necessary for a Android system cellphone.
So I suggest update note 9 pro Max with power lock.
Thanks

Almost using it from 4 months, display quality is so good, just having a fault in the speakers sometimes, the speakers makes an echo, which disturbs a lot. But would recommend it by the way.

Best phone from Xiaomi (Pronounced 'Shau-mee')

Pros and Cons of Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max:
Pros:
1. No complaints for Ads. User need to set phone properly avoid ads. Also user can use adblocker like Adaway/Blockada.
2. Presence of PHYSICAL proximity sensor (No random screen ON during calls or in lying position). In later models like Redmi Note 10, 11 and many Samsung and other brands newer phones, there is no Physical proximity sensor but virtual which causes screen On Off and heating issues.
3. Long battery life (2 days normal usage). This 5020 mAH is better than Samsung 6000 mAH.
4. Camera and specifications beating many Rs. 30k+ Samsung and OnePlus phones.
5. Fast Charging time from 0% to 100% in 1 hour and 15 minutes (Tested while phone is OFF). This is power of its 33 watts charger. When phone is ON, in 30 min it charges 50%+
6. Can remove some unwanted system apps by app on PlayStore called 'Redmi System Manager'.
7. Can hide notch from settings. I hate notch.
8. So many features (customization) like Dual apps, Network indicator, Video toolbox, Built in Screen Recorder, Call recorder.
9. Easy to root.
10. Google Assistant and Alexa works when Screen is off (also if phone is locked). Performing easy tasks without touching your phone like 'Ok Google, what is meaning of xyz word? or ?Ok Google, set a 15 minutes timer'.
11. Convenient gesture and scrolling effect for screenshot.
12. Customizable action for menu, home and back buttons (single, double and long tap actions).
13. Live Wallpaper.
14. Got drenched in Rain many times. No damage.
15. Optional RAM expansion of 3GB making it to 11GB. Never used it.
16. Dropped many times from like 3-4 feets (my work table). No damage!
Use 11D tempered glass and medium hard case and it's as tough as Nokia 3310 😁.
17. Infrared remote.
No other brand offers such convenience and features.
Cons:
1. There are 4 cameras. 2-3 should have been decent.
2. It's a big size phone. 5 Inches should have been great.
3. Fingerprint sensor is side mounted on power button and often gets pressed accidentally. Fingerprint on back would have been better.
My friend offered me iPhone and I said, thank you, please keep it with you as I might end up not using it. I don't like iPhones.
Lack of features, battery life etc always kept me AWAY from iPhones and made me love Xiaomi (pronounced as 'Shau-mee'). Not all costly phones mean they are good. Some are way better than famous brands.
My last IndoChina Redmi Note 4, was great. It ran 5+ years with total repair cost of Rs. 500.
Got bored of Xiaomi and bought a Samsung phone. Due to lack of features, I wanted to switch.
I badly wanted a phone with Ok Google feature which should work even when screen is off/locked so purchased this new Indochina legend 'Redmi Note 9 Pro Max' (8Gb RAM + 128 GB Internal Storage) and it is bang for one's buck.
