  My Order was for Voltas 18V DY Inverter Split AC ( 1.5 Ton, White, Copper.) But supplied me by Voltas Shoppe " Voltas 183V Ey Inverter AC ( 1.5 Ton, White, Copper. ) I don't know Why It was changed, and done so without my consents. And what is the difference between my ordered model and supplied models. Are the supplied model somewhat inferior or superior then my ordered model ? Nothing is cleared to me.O.P.Verma. Bhopal.   I brought Volta's inverter Ac 6 months back. Now non functional.. Poor post sales service.. Never opt for any Volta's appliances.. V got a godreg, sharp and general Ac .. With no complaints .. Good service..

• I received a DYa Cool only model instead of Hot and Cold model

  The specifications given on the Amazon website is incorrect. I received a DYa Cool only model instead of Hot and Cold model. The seller confirmed that Amazon website carries incorrect model specifications.With great disappointment here is my experience with AC installation from Voltas,1. The people who came to install did not bring in a cylindrical drill bit. In-turn said thats an additional cost of INR 1500 that we should get done. I am surprised how I can presume that this should be done by us. Are there clear instructions prior to indicate that you would not drill the hole with the right tools? I presume this is a default thing that is done during installations.2. The drill hole was made with the normal drill bit. The finishing was worse and we found at the end that they had 'white cement' and a 'plastic cover/ enclosing lid' that would prevent extra dust or mud from falling off the hole beneath the unpacked cardboard debris which the technician had deliberately hidden and never mentioned about it.3. They did not get the electric socket that would cover the electric plug and said we need to call an electrician to have it fixed. So this was also not told to us in advance and if they already know that the electric plug/socket is not part of standard supply, shouldnt they get it along? How do they expect us to carry additional sockets at home or have a standby electrician to come and fix it immediately? It was dangerously left exposed until we got a new socket/plug from the near by store and insisted on fitting it.4. The external unit was not fit appropriately, we had to ask them to place it in the right spot that would not affect lighting and plants around. The water exhaust pipe was additionally charged just so that the water does not drip off from the top.Overall the worst experience I had with Voltas after paying INR 2400 for installation. Above all this was escalated to Amazon support and all they said was that they would reach out to Voltas and schedule an appointment to inspect the installation. May 12th was the last response, followup sent on June 7th and no response till date.
