Nice unit for one-handed use.

Just the right size and very balanced in the hand. Call quality is one of the best I've had. Has enough CPU to keep in powersave mode most of the time, except when playing hi-end games or watching HD movies. The screen is razor sharp and much clearer than my iPhone (I have both in front of me right now). The build quality is very premium, and when you set it on the table during a meeting, people will stare at it. I have about 60% battery left at the end of the work day, so it could be better, but it is a slim phone. The new extreme power save mode (HTC Sense 6 upgrade) is great as long as you don't mind using just the basics while in that mode. You only get access to phone functions, messages, email, calendar, and calculator in extreme power save mode, but you can go 4 or 5 days on one charge. If you are looking at using your phone hard all day for games or videos, then another choice like the the One M8, iPhone 6 Plus, Sony Experia, etc. would be a better option.
The phone is more durable than expected and has no scratches anywhere, but with the metal back and Gorilla Glass 3 screen, that is how it should be with care. I treat my iPhone with even more care, and it has scuffs in the back and scratches in the screen that you can feel.
Boom Sound makes every other phone in the world sound lame, and that's all I'm going to say ;)
The downsides are: No memory expansion or NFC, and the WHITE version of this phone gets thermal cracks in the plastic. The blue version rarely cracks, and the black version never cracks. The phone gets warm because the all aluminum back pulls the heat right out of the components, which is good for cooling, but bad for the white plastic because it is not flexible enough to expand with the aluminum. This is why it cracks.
So, if it were not for the cracks, I would keep this phone for a while. But since my carrier is not letting me change to the black one, I'll be going to the One mini 2, or preferrably the One M8.
