Excellent product. Best cooling effect. iClean is a wonderful feature. Go for it you will never regret. Amazon has given the best price. Retail shops are not even imagine that price.

Its a good product at ideal pricing. But felt sad that It could not be shipped to Lucknow. Had to buy it from local stores.

I have been searching and searching for a quality 1.2 Ton, 5 Energy Star rated AC and couldn't find anything below 35k.Luckily, Hitachi's RAU514IVD appeared on Amazon out of nowhere at a very tempting price and I had to take a leap of faith. The AC was delivered on exactly the date and the time-slot I chose, which was pretty awesome.Re: Installation, apparently, the third-party Hitachi affiliated service folks are nearby my area itself, so it took them not more than 24 hours to send the technician for the installation. Took a while,4 hours or something to get everything up and running. It's been working flawlessly.NOTE : Installation for the AC was free for me, but doesn't apply to all the areas.P.S. NOTE: I brought the AC stand and Stabilizer from Hitachi itself, they have a tie up with a company in India called "Ryoku" or something. Quality stuff, but a bit pricey.Overall, I am loving it! Thank you Amazon.

I had purchased this ac from croma as Amazon was not delivering in my location it's good and cool room very fast with low power consumption and I clean is best

No delivery at 282001 hence bought from retail stores @ 35k. Nice AC..silent and fast cooling. Its more than sufficient for room sizes upto 120sqft. I sense & I clean features are just too good..

Hitachi AC's are in general one of the better ones out there. This is the 4th Hitachi AC for me, and once aGain i'm happy to report that this 5 star self cleaning all white split unit is a gem of a machine. Time will tell if this piece gives me as much peace of mind as my other ones.. Hitachi customer service has gotten better over the years as well. Cloudtail is the best seller for such items, & as usual i had a flawless experience. Installation is done by the compnay guys, within 2 days of you calling them.I suggest you call them 2 days before the scheduled delivery date so that the delivery and isntallation can happen in one day itself. If AC installation is not a new thing to you, & if your wall does not have an ac pipe outlet from before, then I would also suggest getting your local guy to make a hole in the wall about 3-4 sq inches to allow for the drain pipes, the coolant pipes and the connection wire to pass thru between the indoor and outdoor unit. Also think about the electric connection for the ac, how far it is from the AC, the need for a stabilizer &/or an isolation ELCB, etc.In short, the more you're prepared, the better and easier it will be , with fewer surprises.Of course, if you've got people to take care of these things, then you probably wont read this bit anyway. Its a good model, go for it.One minor gripe, the remote for this does not come with a wall cradle.. :/ those were quite handy!

it gives chilled cooling & very very silent AC

Very good ac. Installation service from company was not satisfactory. Installed but left the place with the mess. Didnt bothered to clean the place or keep things at its place at least. When you buy go for R32 or better gas. All these products in the website are of R22 refrigerant thats goin to be obsolete in 2020. R32 and advanced gases are better.

The product and delivery were as scheduled...but the installation standard was pretty ordinary...both the electric supply wire and the black thick pipe to outdoor unit is visible on the wall which destroys the whole purpose of installation...

I would suggest don't buy it if not less than 35000. its a good ac but not a good discount. Installation charge and other spare parts charges will easily blow it's MRP and You will deal with Hitachi company with any warranty and repair related issues.

Review for Hitachi Kashikoi 1.2 ton inverter ACBought this AC around 2 years back, mainly on the basis of the Hitachi Brand-name. After 2 years of service (or rather lack of it) I have not only changed my views of the supposed quality of Japanese products but have sworn off buying any Hitachi product every again.Note: I bought the AC from a retail chain , not online. No complaints regarding the services provided by the dealer.Pros:1. The AC does cool2. It is silentCons:1. High price2. Cheaper ACs can cool just as well and are silent too3. The remote seems to have a mind of its own and function occasionally. You have to press a button and hope that the AC responds. This issue has not been sorted despite changing the remote itself 3 times, the reception panel being repaired twice and the AC indoor unt being relocated once. This seems to be a major design issue or a defective piece, which Hitachi refused to replace. With a functional remote, the AC as as good as a very expensive piece of junk4. The AC has experienced Gas leaks twice in 2 years despite professional installation by the company. The Gas refill is very expensive at 3500 plus 500 service charge and the feedback I have got is that this is an annual affair with ACs of this company. Surprisingly, other ACs in my house from second rung and local brands, purchased at 50-60% of the price, have been functioning without issues for the past 3-5 years so so the excuses of "pollution", bad air from neighboring drains, etc are definitely not applicable here. Any saving in electricity costs is more than offset by initial purchase cost and the very high cost of annual maintenance.Overall a very big disappointment purchasing a Hitachi Product and my advice to readers is to refrain from purchasing ACs from Hitachi and instead purchase cheaper ACs from other brands. You will save money and avoid serious headache from trying to get service out of this high maintenance piece of junk

Installed by hitachi authorised folks. Ac doesn't start. Apparently faulty pcb. Hitachi authorised service man says it happens sometimes in delivery. Now break down complaint logged with them. Very poor. Didn't expect this after paying premium prices.
