Used it for Two days , Windows 10 booted up okay , and all drivers were compatible. Faced no problems so far.

Using this from last one week .well compact n low weight lappy easy to handil with good configuration . Only drawback is speaker volume is really low. But over all awesome deal in this price.

Super Bombay Useful

I was looking for a 14" laptop and by chance came across this model. I went to some laptop shops in my locality and found 14" laptops were bit higher priced (around 35k with win10) with these spec. Initially I was bit sceptical since not much review was available for this model but decided to go with it after seeing some positive reviews on flipkart. I was told at shops that hp will not give warranty if bought online. I confirmed with hp customer care and they said you can. Got it with 5% off through debit card purchase from WS retail. flipkart delivered it with in the timeline with nice packaging. Now to the review part. Pros: -Compact, light weight and good looking (black matte finish) -Build quality is good, good performance -can be taken anywhere with out much hassle as its not bulky -Good battery backup (3-4 hrs with browsing not tested with gaming or video play) -Display is good (very bright) but not wow... (not complaining at this price point) -corei3 5th gen, intel integrated graphics, 1 TB, 4 GB RAM, DVD drive, card reader (it is not clear from the picture though but DVD writer and card reader come with it) -No heating problem till now -loaded alphalt airborne and no lag (its not a gaming laptop but good for casual gaming) -1 yr Accidental Damage Protection by registering at hp site. warranty date was 1 yr from the date of purchase (from WS retail its peace of mind as on hp site it is an authorized seller) - Its hp so no doubt about quality and reliability Cons: -No driver CD provided by hp. however, can be downloaded at hp support site for windows 7 and 10. I had windows 8.1 pro but with this os no driver was (had to update to win 10 vide Ethernet and then installed drivers from hp site). Giving 4 stars for this. -volume is very low - came with DOS so windows had to be installed by user (I had initial trouble installing the OS as I am not a techy kind but now win 10 working fine ) - no dedicated key for wifi, Bluetooth etc. -key board quality is bit low On account of all these features the pros outweigh the cons at this price point. so any body looking for a 14" laptop in this price range can go for it if having his own windows but be careful/wise in choosing a seller before u make any purchase to avoid hassle free experience.

wanted a 14inch laptop with price of 25k around, the best laptop i got...Initially i was sceptical about quality and performance but there is no such things exist...very happy about my decision... only minor con is speakers are little weak... battery backup also very good easily i get 4 to 5 hrs.. Using this with windows 10, apart from windows bugs nothing to complaint... Strongly recommended for students...

Overall fair as expected in price, body good for commercial use, battery backup around 4hours, display great, but performance is not good as i3 processor in laptop, i would not recommend for coding and development.

best among the price range. Built quality is good. Keyboard quality not that good. Processing speed is also good. Till now didnt find any issues.

Actually i have ordered for 64 bit, but what i have received is 32 bit. 1) Overall laptop is good 2) Speakers are not good 3) Keys are OK, of course its not a cheap quality keys 4) It doesn't comes with driver, paid additional Rs.300 to get it installed 5) Mounting of USD ports are not proper, during fixing the flash drives, ports are bit shaking 6) Weight less - Satisfied 7) Bit expensive it should be Rs.24500/- 8) Slim & easy to carry 9) As of now battery back is good using for the last 1 week

1. The Keyboard keys feel they are of low quality plastic but it does the job. 2. Battery comes for a Good 3.5 Hrs+ which is great. 3. I have not encountered any much Heating issue even after 4 hrs of regular browsing+movie usage. There is a slight heating exactly below the trackpad. But it is not that hot. its manageable. 4. The webcam is average on night time. 5. Sound quality is low compared to other HP and Dell laptop(having speakers next to the keyboard on top) as this speakers are at the front end bottom. But does the job if you are watching any video alone. If watching with friends/Family i would suggest to connect an external speaker or Home Theater system. 6. The entire laptop body is made of plastic. It attracts finger prints and finger oil stains. So it might look ugly with 2- 3 days of usage without wiping the touched area. 7. i got it for 25.3K. I feel its decent for the price range. 8. I installed with Win 8.1 9600. Works very nicely without hang. Not going to upgrade to Win 10 as the OS is still not fully stable. Been using this laptop for one week now. I wanted a 14' portable low end laptop for programming and general use with good build quality. And its scores high in all that department. Good:-- ->Build Quality (little to no flex on base of the laptop) ->Screen Quality (I found it not THAT reflective, and since its 14' its sharper because the screen resolution is same as 15.6' screen so pixel density is higher ) ->No overheating (a little warm on bottom but that's accepted) ->Barely makes noise (fan spins and HDD spins but even under heavy load its barely noticeable) ->Ethernet port has two lights (Power and processing) that's a plus ->Keyboard has caps lock and mute led which is a good addon ->Slim,lightweight,portable ->Has all the major ports and an optical drive ->No visible air intake vents on bottom of laptop(only one exhaust on the side which seems enough as i3 5th generation does not output that much heat) so theoretically if you use it on a bed that should not block the air flow and make the system hot. /* THIS IS PURELY MY THINKING AND LOGIC AND DO NOT HAVE ANY PROOF TO BACK IT*/ Kind of Good but could have been better:-- ->Keyboard (keys are short travel and up/down arrow keys are too small) ->Even though it has DTS sound but its OKAY and not loud at all but I mostly use headphones so no issues for me ->Only one usb 3.0 (come on HP give us atleast 2) ->No maintenance hatch so to upgrade ram and HDD you have to open all bottom screws and take whole base off. But a lots of tutorials are on YouTube for that and it seems easy. Not Good:-- -> /* THIS ISSUE IS ONLY FOR THOSE USERS WHO ARE GOING TO USE LINUX ON IT. WINDOWS USERS MIGHT NOT FACE IT*/ I use Linux on it and right now the Linux kernel does not support the WiFi card well. So even though I was only one feet away from my router,I was getting only one signal bar and pathetic speed after installing Xubuntu 15.10 (after updating it and installing drivers also no improvement). But there is a work around for this issue and its easy to find. Now the Range and speed is much better but I feel issue is not yet resolved. So will have to wait for the kernel to fully support it.

I purchased this laptop and try to Avail Back to school offer but laptop is not showing in Hp Website. complained flipkart they are keep shirking their duties.i bought this laptop just beacuse of this offer now not able to apply this so frustating Never Expect this from Flipkart. So Dissappointed!!!!

laptop is good overall for an average user but the plastic used is not so good so need to be handled carefully.

Overall good deal for the price (24500/-) I paid. - There was some noise in the CPU fan but HP fixed that at my house only. - Keyboard is not so good. - Sound and display quality okay. - battery backup is good. - light weight and compact. - looks great. Doesn't look like an entry level laptop.

Speakers not good.. no volume at all...
