Extra charge on the price

I bought from Kerala "skyline computer" Changanassery - Vazhoor Rd, Aramanapady, Changanassery, Kerala 686101. They charge double extra Gst. Approxmitely 5000 rupees I paid for Gst. They said, 2500 is for state Gst and another 2500 is for national Gst. How can that be possible. If I buy from Online I'll pay only the exact amount. SO therefore, I want a reason why they charged me this much. Is it because I'm non-local for them? why?
